LABOR DAY PARTY at CRANKY PAT'S!

Cranky Pat's...905 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI

Denver, Colorado rockers Kinetix continue to build upon their DIY success of the previous five years, having spent 2009 logging more than 10,000+ miles criss-crossing the country setting concert hall and music festival audiences on fire with their soul-powered rock and roll. Now in 2010, the band has rededicated themselves to the studio and have produced their finest album to date. Uniting soaring vocal harmonies, muscular guitar riffs, deep bass, R&B flavored electronic organ drenched in reverb, a tireless work ethic and extreme attention to detail on the production of both their new album and live shows, Kinetix is primed to reach greater heights on a national level.
"Rock and Roll comes from Soul music, and we are tied to that. What we do comes from inside of us. Music is about what you hear and see and feel, but it’s also something that is greater than the sum of its parts.” – Josh Fairman, bass player for Kinetix.

THE RAGBIRDS with Mr. Tall Pants & the Shorts!
Cranky Pat's...905 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI

The musical roots of The Ragbirds sound are complex - with Gypsy, Middle-Eastern, Americana, Rock, and Latin influences, all stirred with a Celtic fiddlers bow. In live performances the band incorporates variations on traditional African drum pieces, each member trading their instrument for a hand drum. The Ragbirds craft their songs carefully weaving joy and hope into honest lyrics, while keeping an ear always open to improvisation. The songs carry a positive message that appeals to listeners of all ages. For all the intensity of their live show, this is a band that is not afraid to show their softer side with acoustic tunes that are anything but typical folk.

Mr. Tall Pants & The Shorts combines driving Acoustic Guitar rhythms with the high lonesome bluegrass sounds of the Mandolin topped off with a Latin Percussion Back-beat. They mix in some three part harmony's to create a diverse and unique sound and style like none other.  Read more about them at:  http://www.myspace.com/mrtallpantsandtheshorts#ixzz0xRfTECnb

FUNKTION with Ghetto Blaster
Cranky Pat's...905 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI

Funktion, the 7-man band based in Kalamazoo, MI, delivers their dare-you-not-to-dance blend of funk and soul with a hip-hop beat that isn’t afraid to straddle genres -- including rock and jazz. This lends to a gritty and some times flat-out rambunctious flavor in their live shows.
Funktion’s high-energy performances are as intoxicating as whatever’s on tap. Night after night their live shows bring the kind of soul-stirring experience usually reserved for Sunday mornings.
Members of FUNKTION have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Bobby McFerrin, Stefon Harris, Janis Siegel (of The Manhattan Transfer), Billy Hart, Digable Planets, and The Tubes, just to name a few…

Ghetto Blaster is an electronic jam rock combo...a hybrid mix of Electronica and Hip Hop...a live band combined with multiple DJs scratching records creates one heck of a dance party
